Good Spa Guide Reader Spa Review

Portland Hall Spa, Southport.  Barbara reviews Portland Hall Spa, Southport I felt I just had to write. What an amazing, unusual place with its Moroccan and Art Deco themes. I visited with a friend yesterday and we were treated to a wonderful day of pampering. The staff were so attentive, we felt like VIPs. We started off in the spa pool area which is candlelit and has the most gorgeous Moroccan arches. As we relaxed in the hot water, we were bought fresh fruit on skewers to nibble at before we were taken up for our treatments -- what a nice touch. Our Elemis massage and facials were so good (ask for the double red room -- beautiful!). We relaxed further over lunch and then went up for our pedicures in yet another amazing room -- the stained glass is spectacular. I think I've fallen in love with the place. I'll definitely be back!
